US Customs Rulings

United States · 更新: weekly · us-customs-rulings

CBP’s Customs Rulings Online Search System (CROSS) — more than 220,000 binding and advisory ruling letters on tariff classification, country of origin, valuation and trade-programme eligibility, read through two keyless JSON endpoints. A ruling’s text never changes but a later ruling can revoke or modify it, so the amendment graph is first-class metadata and each record carries a derived ruling status. The addressee block of every letter is removed structurally before any hash is computed, and the omissions are counted per record. Every record carries its source URL, fetch timestamp, HTTP status and the SHA-256 of both the raw response and the extracted record. Every release ships a manifest with every file’s SHA-256 and a Merkle root over every chunk hash, which the buyer can recompute from the downloaded files. record_id and chunk_id are stable across releases. Personal data is screened out inside the pipeline before any hash is computed.
